The beginning

This was the first car of our adventure, a pretty original 1963 BMW 700 cabrio bought from Georgia.
This car was part of the exhibition of the Bruce Weiner museum in Georgia and belongs many years to Mr. Gregory Beemer In California.
This car has been published in many car publications and publicity pictures as well.
We got it on October 2011 and we started right away the restoration from ground up.

After 2 weeks of disassembling, classification and  documentation of all parts in stock and needed, we start the body work. The car had some hits on the floors pan that need to be addressed. fortunately the car did not have any rust problems other than the broken floor. This model was done by Baur coach builder and it was the first monocoke body from BMW. Baur cut the roof of the coupe and then reinforced the body doing a double deck floor, welded  between each other with a 2" separation with structural steel tube.
The process to have the floors repaired was a piece of work very well done by our master sheet metal guy Omar at Probody collision shop in Doral, FL.

Floors pan was sealed and filled with expanding foam to avoid future corrosion and then painted with epoxy and anti-corrosion textured paint.
